Breakfast? or Dinner? at the Singapore Zoo

Traveling with the entire family can be interesting, take the Singapore Zoo for instance.  While Singapore hotels have fine restaurants in which to taste some of the delicious food of the country, have you ever considered eating your breakfast with a family of orangutans?  Your family, their family.  Well this is an option as each and every morning.  A morning tour leaves each day, and takes the family on a guided exhibit of the most successful breeding program for orangutans in the world.  And as such, this is also the largest group of these animals kept in captivity…in the world as well.

You will have ample opportunity to catch some really great photos, and have face to face contact with these highly intelligent creatures.  Orangutans are quite goofy once you get to know them, and the entire family will get a kick out of watching them as they climb and swing from branch to branch in their natural habitat.  Once the breakfast is finished, you will take a bit more the tram tour, looking over some of the most incredible exhibits that are relatively cage free, and set in the beautiful gardens of the zoo.

Should you decide to take a nighttime dinner cruise instead, your family will be equally as pleased.  The tram will take you through the sections of the zoo which contain the nocturnal species, and you will get the rare opportunity to see these creatures that rarely come out during the day, if at all.  Be assured that the tram is enclosed, as some of these creatures are the fiercest of predators.  Once through the exhibits, you will be led on a walking trail through the jungle to your final destination of the evening, the Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.  You will dine on some very fine Malaysian cuisine, while sitting under the warm glow of the jungle moon.  Be it breakfast or be it dinner, the Singapore Zoo will feed your family’s bellies, while it also feeds their minds and their imaginations.
